➦ Sony company introduces new Digital Paper Tablet. This is an office based tablet that uses E-Ink(Electronic Ink) display. This tablet comes with a 13.3-inch display so that documents of letter size can be easily viewed without having to zoom or scroll.
➦ This tablet has 9.25 * 12.25 * 0.28 in (23.5 * 31 * 0.71 cm) dimensions and weighs approximately 12.6 oz (357g). This tablet has Wi-Fi features. There is also 4 GB internal storage and microSD card slot.
➦ Digital paper tablet offers a display resolution of 1200*1600 dots and it runs on a rechargeable lithium - ion battery, so according to Sony this tablet can be used without charging for up to three weeks, even in bright sunlight.
➦ This device offers the ability to convert files created in programs like Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. into PDF format.
➦ It can also be written using gadget's stylus. USB and Wi-Fi features make it easy to share files with one another.
➦ According to Bob Nell, director of digital paper solutions at Sony Electronics, this is the best way to save huge amounts of paper for many offices and institutions where there is a lot of paper work happening on a daily basis.
➦ In addition to this they say that this device is very easy to use and this device is best for reading document, contract notes, white papers, articles, legislation etc.
2) Illuminated Living-Room keyboard:-
➦ Smart TVs allow you to view media content in your living room from a computer or the net without the need for a PC. But typing with remote control is boring.
➦ To overcome this problem, Logitech company has introduced a new illuminated living - room keyboard K830. This keyboard makes typing and navigating easy for ETPCs (home theater PCs) and smart TV platforms.
➦ The keyboard is wireless and features a rechargeable battery. According to Logitech, it can last up to 10 days after charging its battery.
➦ In addition, it has illuminated back-lit keys, track pedals for pointing and processing, as well as left and right mouse buttons. The K830 has a range of up to 33 feet.
➦ You can add entertainment to your PC to TV by accessing your favorite TV shows, music, movies, etc. or share photos with family and friends from anywhere in the living room. In addition, you can open websites and navigate easily using this keyboard, as it has a trackpad.
➦ The K830 also has a back lit keys as well as a light sensor that sets the keyboard light depending on how much light is available in the room. When typing, the light is automatically turned on and after five seconds the user will stop typing.
