Social media company Facebook has announced its plan for the Brain Reading Computer Interface. Facebook, together with scientists from the University of California, is developing brain-reader technology. Under this system a method is directed which can read a portion of the brain.
There is still technology under which can be thoughtfully written. During the developer conference of 2017 The company introduced the idea of Brain Reading, and now the company has released an update that talks about the project going forward.
Facebook Reality Labs:
There is a division of Facebook that works on the hardware called Facebook Reality Labs. The research worked with three patients undergoing epilepsy treatment. The researchers worked on implanting the electrodes into the brains of patients.
Facebook's AR-VR Vice President tweeted that today we are sharing an update on the work being done on non-invasive wearable devices. This is a device that will know what you are thinking. Still more research is being done in this direction.
